Does Maher's analogy with other religious figures hold any weight?

If they do hold weight, then he would have to show those others gods to be untrue as well.
Im sure a Proffesor of ancient history would be best to show where the similarities lay in these analogies....im instantly sceptical of the use of the Roman calendar the 24th of December as correlating with the ancient calender of the Hindus.
And why dosnt he ever bail up WLC or Plantinga etc.. instead of some dude dressed as jesus at a theme park....It really is the ultimate form of trolling.....the stroll troll.
Take a look at this vid which debunks the Zeitgeist analogy's... im sure the same professor could chew thru bills analogy's too. Ive posted this before but it is a good vid.
