G'day Christians et al. (a l'il light hearted dig at our unbelieving friends :-)),
At our next church business meeting, I am thinking of proposing that a mission board be formed and a tithing regiment be set up to fund said board. Where we are a small church in an area with other small churches, I was thinking of proposing that we form a joint committee proposal to send to a few other churches in the area in order to have the maximum impact in the community.
I was wondering if any church goers here have had experience in forming an alliance with other churches to deal with missions. If so, do you have any recommendations on how such a thing could be structured? What about pitfalls and traps to watch out for?
