That doesn't seem like anything I would ever say. I will look for it, delete, and apologize to you if I did. |

LET'S GET
THIS THREAD
BACK ON TOPIC! In any other forum a mod would have stepped in by now. Jherbert, whether or not you continue talking this BS with these guys is your choice. You are right in being offended by the nit-wit dmstunt. These stupid Christies have no idea what they do, just like Jesus said. They abuse us all day long. I started out being very politically correct and respectful as respectful is understood in mainstream society. Suddenly, for no reason whatsoever, they started accusing me of the greatest felonies possible.
What I see happening to you in this thread is what happened to me in Something I haven't been able to answer. That link will take you to page 7 of the thread. Post 91 accuses me of stuff I never did. That is when things started to go downhill for me. Much happened before that page. I did not start that thread but I responded in it. I had been on the forums for a little bit. The Christians decided to pounce on me like they are doing on you here. Seems they can't tolerate a persistent so-called unbeliever in their midst so they gotta "raze" him/her.
Well, that is what is happening to you here. That is what they did to me. When they saw that I was not going to give in to their ideas, when I finally told them upfront what I believe and why (they had been on my back for the longest time but they refused to tell me what they believed), they started getting nasty. When I complained that they are being nasty, they got much nastier. The nastiness has not let up. As you can see, I am today blamed for personality disorder--all because I give back some of what I am given.
Christians are often labeled as being schizophrenic or mentally disordered. Now they label me disordered when I give them what they are giving me. Perhaps people are right in labeling Christians mentally disordered. Looks to me like I've gotten it out of their own mouths, right Eric???
Oh, I forgot, Christians never admit this kind of thing. They can't tell the difference between what they see when the look in the mirror and objective reality. Sorry. No need to answer that question, Eric.
Anyway, LET'S GET THIS THREAD BACK ON TOPIC!

Your posts to me in this thread are malicious, full of false accusations, and off-topic. Jherbert has spoken well. The argument of this thread is: Christianity is hell. Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not?
You're kidding, right? Do you actually read what you write?
"Christianity is hell"... Your argument disintegrated the second you hit the "post message" bar. It shows your maliciousness towards Christians/Christianity. It shows your lack of understanding of it. It shows how you spin it in such a way so it fits in your twisted logic. Of course I'm not going to comment on such absurdity! I'm smart enough not to fall for the smelly bait...

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know posting on this forum required an invitation. I've started threads where others have posted without invitation. Are you trying to marginalize or oppress me rsmartin? You sly devil you...
I didn't feel I was off-topic. You mentioned that we (Christians) are a threat to humanity (or some such nonsense) and I responded to that topic. See, there you go twisting things again. Settle down.
Quote: I think there are entire forums on this site that atheists barely look at. In addition, there are countless Christian forums online where atheists are not tolerated. Go join them. Accusing atheists of spoiling your fun when there's many times more of you in the world than of us is just so much spit in the wind.
Right back atcha, shnookie-lumps. "Go join them." There are plenty that spew your hatred of Christians. I'm still holding the door open for you to leave.

As you know, I am responding to your complaint that atheists dominate the forums and jump in whenever you want to discuss things with Christians. To refresh your memory, I will copy that part of my old post below, with the insertion re which post and who I am responding to in it:

Not cool. Let me point out that this thread was started by an atheist and you knew it. You entered this thread voluntarily, without invitation. Obviously, your statement that you are here to learn from Christians is not true. If it were true you would not have joined this thread because you knew that at least one atheist was on it. If you really wanted to learn from Christians you would be on forums where only Christians can post.
Since WLC's philosophy is that it is good for Christians to confront atheists because he thinks that confronting atheists will strengthen Christians (see Question 72), you should expect to meet up with atheists any old time on these forums. He says if you think a certain atheist is too rude you should just ignore that person.
Of course, if you think I'm rude, you should look at yourself in the mirror. People give off a certain message when they ignore me. They tell me that they can't handle what they give. I never give more rudeness than I am given. If you lie, I am apt to call you names because I won't lie. Thus, it might not be tit for tat but I won't exceed the level of rudeness you inflict on me or fellow nonreligious people.
You, dmstunt, are simply being outrageously obnoxious. Stooping to your level does not appeal to me at the moment, though I am sure most Christies on here will say I am stooping lower by shere reason of rebuking you. So be it. Such people don't understand etiquette at all. __________________ It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. –Carl Sagan, Demon-Haunted World, p. 12 |
