In a recent podcast he mentioned a 17 year old that is a forum pro. Anyone know who he is referring to?

I don't know but just for those who are new here....he does read the forum.  Obviously, he doesn't have time to interact in it but he does read it.

I met him after a debate a couple of years ago.  I was there with two other guys that were active in the forum.  When we introduced ourselves he was familiar with all of us and actually questioned one of the guys about a specific thread he had started the previous day.

Which podcast was this?

He's not 17, but I do recall him mentioning a message Drew posted - his username here in this forum is DrewMazanec I believe - but he hasn't logged on for many months. He's "The Messianic Drew" - http://messianicdrew.blogspot.com/ (I love that online moniker! :-) )

Not sure if that's who you are referring to? I don't recall anyone else being mentioned in his podcasts that interact with the online forums.

I heard this past podcast too, but as curious as I am, it may be best not to draw so much of this sort of attention to this person on here for that reason.

One thing I would like to know is, who here on these forums attend Craig's Defender's class in person?

:-) I only mention Drew because he appears to be putting alot of effort in his blog and youtube channel so I figured giving him a shout out here would be appreciated by him

I attended once on a recent trip to Georgia a few months ago :-) If I lived nearby, I'd be there every week just so I could ask my own questions (as I listen to his podcasts, I'm often shouting in my head the questions I want to be asked

Perhaps it was Archsage, I thought he was young.

Well, clearly if WLC were to mention a forum member, it would be the World's Greatest Genius himself (ie...me).

The Hungry For Reasonable Faith in Hungary podcast.
:-)

I dont think it specifically mentions which particular forum.
Dont forget, the main blog has a discussion forum too.

I think I have a pretty good idea of who it is....just not sure his head wouldn't explode if he were named though...

I wouldn't doubt it. I also would NOT call Archsage a forum pro. No offense meant, but clearly troyjs or Michael are better examples of great theist posters here.

And what happened to Craig (the one that went with Bill Clute to meet WLC)? He has fallen off the face of the earth...anyone check on him lately?

Also, does any of the forum regulars remember Kendallbeau (sp?)?

I remember when I was 18, fresh out of high school sporting my big man beard I had grown over the course of the last 6 months plus summer. I was dating a 16 year old girl at the time who I considered to be surprisingly mature, or so I thought, until her friends asked me if I was her uncle during a football game we attended. Needless to say we split shortly after.

Mind you I'm 6'3, 350 pounds. Worked out a little in high school, so all that plus the man beard, and my general attitude apparently makes me seem 2 decades older than I am >.>

My fiance is quite young looking, when she wants to be, whereas I can look anywhere from early twenties through to mid thirties, depending on if I've shaved in the last two days.

Consequently, when I have a full beard, and Jen is wearing a nice skirt and a ribbon in her hair, I tend to get some very dirty looks indeed.

More incentive not to be lazy in shaving, I guess.
